The very first CD I ever made in 1998. Back then there wasnt the package deals there are now, and pressing a CD at the time was kinda expensive. The sleeves, using the fantastic designs of Craig Tattersall (The Famous Boyfriend, Hood, The Remote Viewer etc), were printed at a local printer, as full colour printing was super expensive.
I cut each of the 500 sleeves by hand, giving it a somewhat handmade quality. Took me weeks!
Its a great snapshot of the 555 label, still very much indebted to "lo-fi" but edging towards forays into electronic exploartion.
